Job Description

As a Banqueting Agent, you play an important role in our Food & Beverage operations. With your welcoming attitude, eye for detail, and hands-on approach, you ensure that events, functions, and meetings run smoothly, professionally, and in line with the highest quality standards.

You are involved in the preparation, execution, and completion of a wide variety of events. From setting up meeting rooms and arranging coffee and tea breaks to serving lunches, dinners, and drinks, you make sure everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail. During events, you act as a welcoming point of contact for our guests and respond flexibly to their wishes and needs.

Together with your Food & Beverage colleagues, you ensure smooth teamwork, a polished presentation, and a level of service that reflects the quality and hospitality of our hotels. Whether it is a business meeting, conference, reception, or festive occasion, you contribute to flawless event execution and an unforgettable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, and arrange event spaces for meetings, conferences, dinners, and events;

• Deliver friendly and professional service during a wide range of functions;

• Serve food and beverages and organise coffee and tea breaks in accordance with agreed arrangements;

• Welcome guests and respond to their wishes and needs;

• Check room layouts, mise en place, presentation, and the cleanliness of event spaces;

• Clear and reset event spaces after functions;

• Collaborate with colleagues in Banqueting, Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure events run smoothly;

• Identify any issues or special requirements and communicate them to your supervisor in a timely manner;

• Maintain a clean, well-presented, and professional working environment;

• Comply with HACCP guidelines, safety regulations, and established hotel procedures;

• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and an exceptional guest experience in line with Hilton standards.

Experience in banqueting or Food & Beverage is an advantage, but we value your motivation, welcoming attitude, and willingness to learn just as highly.

What You Bring to the Role:

• A passion for hospitality and delivering excellent service;

• Preferably, experience in banqueting, Food & Beverage, or the hospitality industry;

• A proactive, flexible, and hands-on approach to work;

• A keen eye for detail and a polished, professional appearance;

• Strong communication skills and a genuine team spirit;

• The ability to work efficiently and remain calm during busy periods;

• A willingness to learn new skills and continue developing professionally;

• Good command of both Dutch and English;

• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
