Job description:

As a Bartender, you are the face of our bar and provide our guests with professional, welcoming, and personalized service. You prepare and serve a variety of beverages according to Hilton standards, ensuring that every order is delivered with care, quality, and attention to detail. With your knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and other beverages, you are able to advise guests and create a unique bar experience.

You work closely with the Food & Beverage team and contribute to a smooth daily operation. You ensure the bar is clean, organized, and well-stocked, process orders accurately, and make sure all activities are carried out according to the applicable quality, hygiene, and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and Hilton standards.

• Welcome guests, take orders, and provide suitable beverage recommendations.

• Deliver an excellent guest experience through personal and professional service.

• Maintain knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, spirits, and promotions.

• Ensure responsible alcohol service and check identification when required.

• Prepare, replenish, and close the bar according to operational guidelines.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

• Process payments accurately through the POS system and other payment methods.

• Collaborate with Food & Beverage colleagues during daily operations, events, and busy service periods.

• Work according to HACCP guidelines, safety regulations, and Hilton quality standards.

You bring:

• Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar hospitality role is preferred.

• A passion for beverages, hospitality, and personal service.

• Knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and bar techniques, with the motivation to further develop your skills.

• A professional appearance and excellent communication skills.

• A proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• The ability to remain calm and organized during busy periods.

• Good command of the Dutch and English language.

• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
