Breakfast and Banqueting employee - Amsterdam

In this versatile role, you’ll make sure our guests start their day with a well-organized breakfast and that meetings and events run smoothly. You know exactly how to pamper our guests, whether they’re early birds or business clients.

In this position, you’ll work closely with the Banqueting Supervisor. Together, you ensure the flawless execution of both breakfast service and banqueting activities. You support wherever needed, think proactively, and align effectively to create unforgettable experiences for every guest.

You are responsible for the setup, service, and breakdown of our banqueting activities, as well as providing a delicious and well-prepared breakfast. Whether you're setting up a meeting room, welcoming guests, or ensuring the buffet looks its best, you do it all with energy and ease!

Your responsibilities include: 

Breakfast:

• Setting up, replenishing, and clearing the breakfast buffet

• Providing warm and welcoming breakfast service

• Clearing tables and keeping the breakfast area clean

• Handling dishwashing and keeping the kitchen tidy

• Preparing mise en place for the next day

• Placing orders and managing inventory

• Following HACCP hygiene standards

Banqueting:

• Preparing and setting up meeting and event rooms

• Welcoming and assisting guests during meetings and events

• Serving coffee, tea, drinks, and/or lunch/snacks

• Cleaning and resetting event spaces afterward

• Responding flexibly to guest needs

• Collaborating closely with the Banqueting Supervisor and other team members
