At DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station, we are looking for a Breakfast Buffet Kitchen Assistant to join our Kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for replenishing and maintaining the kitchen section of our extensive breakfast buffet. Throughout breakfast service, you will make sure that dishes remain available, fresh, and well-presented while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
With food & drinks venues like the award-winning rooftop bar LuminAir, the vibrant new WE ARE EDN restaurant and bar Amsterdam’s most extensive breakfast buffet, and our in-house LOT61 coffee store, every day presents an opportunity to create unforgettable culinary moments. Who are we looking for?
To be successful in this position you will have:
Strong team player who is able to work on your own and within an international team.
Good verbal and written communication skills where you can deliver a compelling message to the right person in the right time.
Guest focus, maintaining the highest standards of service and quality to create memorable guest experiences.
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate are required within this role, but can be obtained in the hotel.
Creativity and problem-solving skills, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and focused under pressure.
The perfect candidate is fluent in English (Dutch language skills would be an advantage).
