Breakfast Chef (FT/PT) - Rotterdam

What will you do?

• Responsible for the preparation and execution of the daily breakfast service

• Preparing fresh breakfast dishes, such as egg dishes and other hot items

• Managing, presenting and replenishing the breakfast buffet during service

• Carrying out live cooking by preparing à la minute dishes for guests

• Ensuring an organised, clean and efficient workplace in the kitchen

• Collaborating with the kitchen team to deliver a smooth and high-quality breakfast service

For this position we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Breakfast Chef who thrives on the morning service and enjoys working in a dynamic hotel environment. You like to get stuck in, work in an organised manner and feel it is important that guests can enjoy a fresh and well-presented breakfast. With your positive attitude and passion for cooking, you contribute to a hospitable start to the day every morning.

• Experience in a (hotel) kitchen is an advantage

• You have a passion for cooking and enjoy giving guests a great start to the day

• You are a true morning person and have no problem starting early

• You are flexible and do not have a 9-to-5 mentality

• You work in a structured, efficient manner and maintain overview during busy periods

• You have an eye for quality, presentation and the freshness of products

• You feel comfortable with live cooking and enjoy interacting with guests

• You are a team player and enjoy working together in a dynamic kitchen environment
