Key Requirements
Full-time availability, with a strong focus on morning shifts
Weekend availability is essential, with the ability to start as early as 05:00 AM
Experience in breakfast service is a great advantage, but motivation and eagerness to learn are just as important
What does your day as a Breakfast Demi Chef de Partie look like?
Your shift begins at 05:00 AM, both on weekdays and weekends. Together with your colleagues, you prepare the breakfast buffet to ensure our guests start their day with a smile.
During service, you will be responsible for:
Restocking and maintaining the breakfast buffet
Preparing egg dishes on request (from sunny-side-up to a personalised omelet)
Keeping the buffet and workspace clean and organised
Supporting the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef whenever needed
Once the breakfast service ends around 11:00, you continue with:
Mise-en-place for upcoming breakfast services
Preparations for lunches and group events
Helping prepare the lunch/dinner for our Hilton Team Members
And after that? Around 1:00 PM, your workday is done, leaving you the whole afternoon free!
Who are you?
Your friends describe you as the early riser, the one who loves to take initiative, has plenty of morning energy, and easily keeps things organised. You also bring:
Experience as (Demi) Chef de Partie or kitchen assistant in breakfast service
Interest in current food trends and beautiful presentations
Strong communication skills — Dutch or English, both are welcome! Additional languages are always a plus
A positive, eager-to-learn, and proactive attitude
What do we offer?
A fulltime contract (38 hours per week)
Salary in salary scale IV of the Horeca collective labor agreement.
25 paid holiday days per full year (on the basis of 38 hours per week)
