Breakfast Employee

Today you have a morning shift, so you will be at the Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam - Schiphol at 06:45 to have a quick cup of coffee with your colleagues. At 07:00, the first guests are already at the breakfast buffet. Two business guests who want to drink a fresh orange juice before they go to their meeting, are sitting at the bar. You have a nice chat with the guests and soon find out that they are not that familiar with the neighborhood at all. After you have written out a route for them, the guests leave with a sense of relief. You are responsible for supplementing the breakfast buffet. You can see it immediately when the fresh rolls are gone and you immediately replenish them so that the late risers can also have fresh bread.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Welcoming, speaking to and guiding guests;
• Keeping the buffets, lobby and meeting rooms neat;
• Being attentive to the wishes of guests and complying with the rules.

Job requirements:

• An attentive and flexible attitude;
• Having experience in the hotel industry is a plus;
• You are able to speak English, speaking Dutch is a plus.

• You are guest- and service oriented; You want to provide optimal service, this is what satisfies you;

Hoofddorp train station is a 10-minute walk away, making the hotel ideally accessible. From Hoofddorp station you are within 4 minutes at Schiphol or you are within 20 minutes with a direct connection in Central Station Amsterdam.
