For the charming Dikker & Thijs Hotel, located in a characteristic building on Prinsengracht, we are looking for a committed and independent breakfast assistant who is willing to commit to us for the long term.

We are a small-scale hotel where personal attention is key — for our guests and for each other. Many of our colleagues have been working with us for a long time, which characterizes our atmosphere: familiar, committed, and collegial.

The mornings are well-organized and structured. You will ensure that the breakfast buffet looks neat and inviting, and during service you will prepare fresh egg dishes to order. No massive breakfast room, but a warm setting where quality and attention are more important than speed.

What will you be doing?

Independently setting up and replenishing the breakfast buffet
Preparing egg dishes during service
Placing orders and managing stock
Working according to HACCP guidelines
Ensuring a neat, clean, and organized kitchen

You will work largely independently, with a high degree of trust and responsibility.

Who are we looking for?

You have experience in a kitchen or breakfast service

You work independently, in a structured manner, and with an eye for detail

You feel comfortable in a quiet working environment with fixed routines

You take responsibility for quality and hygiene

You are an early starter and don't mind getting up early

You are looking for a stable workplace where you want to be part of a permanent team for a longer period of time
