The Diamond is the dazzling new centerpiece of Amsterdam’s Leidseplein. This iconic building houses a luxury boutique hotel and the reinvented Heineken Hoek, which includes two hospitality concepts: a stylish Bistro on the first floor and the vibrant Grand Café on the ground floor.

With the iconic beer glasses on the roof, the Heineken Hoek was the face of Leidseplein for decades, a familiar place for both locals and visitors. In the brand-new building, the Heineken Hoek returns in a fresh and contemporary way. From breakfast to late night: everyone is welcome.

The Grand Café
Located on the ground floor of The Diamond, the Grand Café is the beating heart of the Heineken Hoek. It’s a lively and welcoming space where hotel guests from Hotel The Diamond enjoy breakfast each morning. At the same time, the Grand Café is open to outside guests, making it a vibrant meeting point for locals, tourists, and other visitors.

With its spacious layout, classic yet contemporary vibe, and accessible menu, the Grand Café is a vital part of the full Heineken Hoek experience.

As a breakfast team member, you’ll be the first point of contact for both hotel guests and external visitors. You’ll welcome guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure a warm and relaxed start to their day.

We’re looking for someone who’s upbeat, attentive, and passionate about hospitality. You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team, and you stay calm even when it gets busy.
