Located at the Keizersgracht, in the heart of the Nine Streets neighborhood is Amsterdam’s best kept secret: The Dylan Amsterdam. A 5-star luxury boutique hotel where we offer sincere and personal service and create memorable experiences for our guests. A historical environment with 41 unique hotel rooms, 4 private rooms for meetings & events and three restaurants: Bar Brasserie OCCO, Two Michelin star awarded Restaurant Vinkeles, and the smallest fine-dining restaurant in The Netherlands, até.
Located in the 5-star boutique hotel, The Dylan Amsterdam, Restaurant Vinkeles was establish in 2006 in an 18th-century bakery with a rich history. The ambiance provides the perfect setting to appreciate the craftsmanship of our Executive Chef, Jurgen van der Zalm, and his team. The cuisine, often described as 'exciting, modest and refined,' features an internationally inspired palette with a foundation in French culinary techniques. Restaurant Vinkeles has been awarded 2 Michelin stars and 17.5 Gault & Millau points.
As Chef de Rang, you will be jointly responsible for providing an ultimate guest experience. This starts with welcoming and guiding guests to the Restaurant. But also serving and explaining dishes, and taking responsibility for the pass and ensuring good communication with the kitchen. You will work in a small and close-knit team who together ensure consistently high quality.
Who are you?
- Hospitality and personal service are number one for you.
- You have graduated from hotel school or similar or have experience in a high-end culinary restaurant.
- You are a real team player.
- You are flexible in working hours and tasks.
- You can handle stress well.
- You speak Dutch and English.

- Fixed weekend Sunday/Monday. Dinner service only.
- Travel allowance starting from 5 kilometres.
Upon commencement of employment, a Swap bike will be available to you. This will be fully reimbursed for one year.
