WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
As Cluster Front Office Manager, you are responsible for managing the Front Office departments at Eye Hotel and The Hunfeld. Your goal is to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction, improve operational efficiency and maximise revenue. In this key position you are constantly focused on delivering service from the heart.
Through your leadership and dedication, you ensure that these crucial departments operate efficiently and deliver the right guest experience. You create a unique atmosphere through open communication, engagement and creativity, enabling employees to grow and develop.
Your tasks and responsibilities include:
Guest Experience
Together with the Front Office team, you relieve and support our guests by delivering the ultimate experience, both within our hotels and in the city of Utrecht. We continuously optimise the Guest Journey to meet the needs of our guests.
Team Recruitment, Training & Coaching
You are responsible for recruiting and selecting new employees, motivating and coaching the Front Office team, and ensuring a pleasant working environment. You make sure employees are in the right place with a healthy balance between private life and work.
Operational Leadership
You are ultimately responsible for coordinating and managing the daily activities at the hotel reception in collaboration with the Front Office Supervisors. Escalations and complaints are followed up adequately and professionally.
Planning & Collaboration
Together with the Housekeeping Manager, you ensure that staff planning is correctly organised and that the quality and service delivered meet our hotel standards and protocols.
Operational Optimisation
You monitor progress and quality, and you actively contribute ideas for new projects that enhance and further optimise the Guest Journey.
Revenue Management
You ensure a complete range of services is offered and you promote upsell opportunities within the hotels, such as room upgrades and packages.
Reporting & Performance Management
You are responsible for accurate (monthly) administration, tracking and analysing key performance indicators, such as labour productivity and guest reviews, and reporting these to your manager.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Just like the rest of our team, you are someone who goes above and beyond to make sure our guests feel truly taken care of. In addition, you bring:
MBO level 4 / Bachelor-level working and thinking ability
3–5 years of experience in a comparable leadership role, such as Assistant Front Office Manager, Front Office Manager or similar, within the hospitality industry
Flexibility in your schedule, shifts will also take place in the evenings and weekends
Knowledge of company policies, guidelines and relevant legislation
Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English (an additional language is a plus, but not required)
An enthusiastic personality with a hands‑on mentality and proactive attitude
Demonstrated leadership skills, awareness of your role‑model position, and understanding of your direct influence on both internal and external guest satisfaction
A sharp eye for detail and a drive for quality and service that exceeds expectations
Practical insight into operational systems
Knowledge of (financial) KPI’s and steering metrics is considered an advantage
