We are looking to recruit an experienced, proactive Cluster Sales Manager for two unique properties in The Hague: Hotel Indigo & Staybridge Suites.

With both hotels based in the gorgeous city of The Hague, Hotel Indigo wears it’s prestigious heritage proudly. Boasting 63 bedrooms, 2 meeting spaces and a busy Speakeasy-style bar/restaurant, it’s the ultimate boutique getaway. Just around the corner, we have the Staybridge Suites: a home away from home, offering 101 luxury apartments to accommodate a broad range of corporate and leisure extended stay guests.

As Cluster Sales Manager, you will work with your team to drive both properties in their respective markets, in line with brand standards and IHG guidelines.

A day in the life of..

With the world coming to meet in The Hague, you’ll maximise corporate business opportunities, establishing new corporate group bookings and growing existing relationships. The role is measured through key sales metrics and KPIs including monthly revenue and opportunity reporting.

As a local champion, you’ll be constantly looking to explore new business potential in the local market of this amazingly vibrant and busy city.

You will work with the hotel General Manager, Sales effectiveness Director, and Revenue team to continuously align and devise strategies and tactics to retain and grow the business. Utilising this intelligence, you will develop strategic plans and ensure the hotels remain competitive in the extended stay and general hospitality marketplaces.

You’ll be on site at the properties as the face of both businesses, driving sales face to face with customer show-arounds that reflect the upmarket boutique nature of the hotels. Whilst driving and empowering those around you to spot and maximise key revenue generating opportunities at all times.

What do we need from you?

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a Sales Manager capacity, preferably within branded properties with local commercial experience being highly desirable

You’ll be driven and pro-active, with a willingness to be both the face of the business and the local commercial champion, driving new business opportunities on all possible fronts at the hotels.

As the commercial expert for these hotels, you will be able to comfortable discussing business performance and make informed decisions/recommendations at a senior level, working with your General Managers to help with key strategic business decisions.

With the local market so integral to this role, were looking for a Dutch speaker, with English language skills being highly desirable.
