We are recruiting a unique personality for the position of:
Director of Sales & Marketing | fulltime
What do we expect from you:
o You design and implement a successful Sales & Marketing strategy based on the right business mix, covering Rooms, F&B, Events, Banqueting, Spa and more;
o You lead the internal Sales & Marketing team and external partners, working closely with them. Additionally, you are responsible for recruiting and selecting team members;
o Encouraging and motivating your team members by constantly raising the bar to improve performance is a daily occurrence;
o You develop budgets and hold responsibility for them;
o Identifying new business opportunities aligns perfectly with your experience and skills;
o You play a vital role in fostering collaboration among various departments, actively promoting maximum cross-pollination to achieve the company´s objectives.
Who are we looking for:
o You have relevant work experience in an international 5-star hotel, preferably under one of the most luxurious international brands;
o You have in-depth knowledge of the markets in the BeNeLux, DACH, UK and US;
o You have broad experience across various departments such as (international) Sales, Meetings & Events, Revenue Management, Marketing, PR and Social Media;
o Excellent written and verbal proficiency in both Dutch and English; knowledge of German and/or Frech is a strong asset;
o You are familiar with hotel software such as Opera, Revenue Management systems, restaurant reservation systems and other common hotel software;
o You have flexibility to travel, national and international;
o You are willing to actively participate in building our hotel, even outside regular office hours, including weekends and evenings;
o You have proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and manage a team of up to 10 employees;
o You are commercially driven and possess strong networking skills;
o You have a proactive an positive attitude: ´lead by example´;
o You are driven to take on challenges and lead our organization to the top;
o You are a team player who is motivated to achieve success not as an individual, but together as a team.
