Our hotel features the award-winning rooftop bar LuminAir, the vibrant new WE ARE EDN restaurant and bar, Amsterdam’s most extensive breakfast buffet, and its very own LOT61 coffee store. With 557 newly renovated rooms and fifteen versatile meeting rooms, our hotel is a dynamic and exciting place to work.

As a F&B Management Trainee you will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, the Restaurant & Bar Manager and Meeting & Events Manager. You will support the departments whenever and wherever necessary. Your job is to make sure that all operational processes within this department run as smoothly as possible to ensure a perfect stay for the guest.

Assisting the Department Heads in their tasks and duties on both operational as well as management level is included in the job description. This means that you will also assist in the operations of all our Food & Beverage outlets; Breakfast, Room Service, WE ARE EDN Bar, WE ARE EDN, LuminAir and LOT61.

As an operational management trainee, you’ll get the chance to rotate across our different outlets — from restaurants to bars, from breakfast to events. But also the chance to pick up or start administrative projects. No two days are the same, and your contribution helps shape the guest experience.

Strong organizational skills
Strong influencing, inter-personal and communication skills
Able to deal with stress and work well under pressure
Confident
Have a flexible and pro-active attitude
Fluent in English
An eye for detail and passionate about delivering excellent Guest service
Proactivity towards new projects to make processes more efficient or more effective
