FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER | FULLTIME

Have you always wanted to take the lead over all Food & Beverage outlets in one of the largest hotels in Amsterdam? The Leonardo Royal Hotel Amsterdam, flagship of Leonardo Hotels, is looking for an experienced and skilled Food & Beverage Manager.

Together with your team, you will ensure that our guests are lacking nothing. Alongside the Outlet Managers of the F&B outlets (Banqueting, Breakfast, and Bar & Restaurant), you are responsible for the smooth running of the entire F&B operation. This includes: the (breakfast) restaurant with 400 seats, Leo’s Bar & Restaurant, and no less than 1,200 square meters of conference rooms, including a massive 900-square-meter ballroom! You are part of the Management Team and report directly to the Operations Manager.

Together with the Operations Manager, Executive Chef & Head Chef, and your entire F&B team, you are constantly working on developing new ideas and concepts. Your colleagues can always count on you. You can create a pleasant working environment for yourself and your team. You provide support when needed in daily operational tasks as well as in staff development, coordinating large events, or handling complaints. Every day brings new challenges, but one thing never changes: you deliver quality and exceed the expectations of both our guests and employees. You are also strategically strong and capable of helping the Leonardo Royal Hotel Amsterdam grow into one of the city’s leading hotels with international allure.

WHAT MAKES YOU THE PERFECT ADDITION TO OUR TEAM?

• You have completed a related HBO (Bachelor) or MBO level 4 education and have at least 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
• You feel completely at home when it comes to organizing large (corporate) events and conferences.
• You have a passion for Food & Beverage and solid culinary knowledge.
• You are creative and continuously surprise us with your innovative ideas.
• You have strong communication skills.
• You are able to prepare and analyze data and figures.
• Information is safe with you, and you can make strategic decisions.
• Hospitality is in your DNA, and you know how to pass it on to your team.
• You get energy from working together in an ambitious team!
