The Gate Restaurant & Bar is the social hub of the Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel, offering an all‑day dining experience for international travelers, business guests, and hotel visitors. From energizing coffees and working lunches to relaxed dinners and evening drinks, The Gate is a vibrant and welcoming place at the heart of the hotel.

We are currently recruiting a passionate Hostess / Food & Beverage Service Associate with a background in hospitality to join our team.

Main Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and ensure a positive first impression

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently

• Serve food and drinks in line with brand and service standards

• Upsell menu items to maximize food & beverage revenue

• Deliver excellent guest service and inspire colleagues to do the same

• Consistently meet and maintain service quality standards

• Handle all payment methods correctly and professionally

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and service areas

• Complete opening and closing duties as required

• Actively support colleagues — teamwork is essential

• Follow all company safety, hygiene, and security policies and procedures
