We are looking for a Front Office employee for our hotel in the heart of Amsterdam!

Hotel Amsterdam and Brasserie De Roode Leeuw has been located at a stone's throw from Dam Square for more than 100 years; a renowned name in Amsterdam and far beyond.

As a Front Office employee you are the first point of contact for our guests. You are representative and service oriented with a smile and with personal attention you make the difference to our guests.

Your daily activities will be:

- guest check-in and check-out

- processing payments and remittances

- giving tourist information to guests

- accepting and processing reservations outside office hours

- luggage service

- resolve complaints

- handling incoming phone calls

The salary is competitive and based on your background and experience.

Who are we looking for?

- flexible: available on weekdays and weekends, both during the day and in the evenings

- education, training or experience in tourism/catering is desired

- good social and communication skills

- experience in working with a reservation system is an advantage

- knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)

- good knowledge of Dutch and/or English in both writing and word, more languages is an advantage
