At Mercure Hotel Amersfoort Centre, we are looking for a Front Office Manager who will be responsible for leading the Front Office team and ensuring excellent service for our guests.

Your Role

As Front Office Manager, you create a warm welcome for our guests and foster an organized and pleasant working environment for your Front Office colleagues. You maintain a high level of service and show strong commitment to your team. You do everything possible to ensure that guests have the memorable stay with us. You communicate clearly and possess strong leadership skills. In addition, you are able to multitask, set priorities, and manage your time effectively, even under pressure, while staying motivated and energetic.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading, motivating, and developing the Front Office team

  • Ensuring an excellent guest experience, high service standards, and compliance with brand standards

  • Overseeing the daily operations of the front desk

  • Preparing staff schedules and approving worked hours

  • Handling guest requests and complaints and improving guest satisfaction

  • Checking reservations and room allocations in cooperation with the Bookings Office

  • Ensuring correct financial transactions

  • Preparing reports and monitoring the financial performance of the department

  • Identifying improvements and optimizing processes

Who are you?

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a supervisory Front Office role within hospitality

  • You are guest oriented, energetic, and a true team player

  • You have strong communication and organizational skills

  • You work in a structured way and maintain a clear overview

  • You are fluent in English (Dutch is preferred)

  • You are flexible and willing to work varied shifts
