Together with your team, you ensure a unique guest experience every single day. You guide a team of supervisors, employees and interns, offering coaching, training and support whenever needed. If you notice that certain procedures no longer meet guest expectations, you know exactly how to redesign and implement new ones. You pass this knowledge on to your team, helping them grow in confidence and responsibility.

You are flexible in your schedule and respond proactively to changes in team staffing. You handle administrative tasks accurately and ensure that everything is well documented and up to date.

You collaborate daily with the externally managed Housekeeping department to ensure a smooth operation. You also contribute to maximising revenue through upselling, strong commercial awareness, cost management and continuous quality improvement. Every shift brings new challenges, but one thing always stays the same: you deliver quality and exceed the expectations of both guests and colleagues.

You are looking for a hotel in the centre of Amsterdam. The Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam Museum Quarter is located in the heart of the city. Our hotel is located right next to the Rijksmuseum. Ideal for a city trip or appointments in the city center. Everything is within walking distance. Top museums near the hotel are the Van Gogh Museum, the Stedelijk Museum and the Heineken Experience.

We are located in the Pieter Cornelisz Hooftstraat. Here you will find special windows of all major international fashion houses. Look out your eyes; glass door handles, marble floors, nothing is too crazy in this street. For nightlife enthusiasts, the Leidseplein is 500 metres from the hotel. Here you will find student cafes but also famous clubs such as De Melkweg and Paradiso.

What are we looking for?
- Higher vocational working and thinking level; a hospitality degree is a plus.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar environment.
- Ability to inspire your team to go the extra mile for guests.
- Strong attention to detail while maintaining full departmental oversight.
- Understanding of revenue maximisation and cost management.
- Proactive, decisive and comfortable taking ownership.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- Knowledge of an additional language (French, German or Spanish) is a strong advantage.
- A flexible schedule suits you perfectly.
