Together with your team of Front Office and Guest Relations, you ensure a unique guest experience and optimal service every single day. You supervise your team of supervisors, employees, and interns. You train and coach them whenever necessary, and they know they can always rely on you. If you notice that certain procedures don’t fully align with guest needs, you know exactly what is required to implement new procedures. You also pass that knowledge and sense of responsibility on to your team.
You are flexible and respond proactively to changes in your team’s staffing levels. You ensure the correct administrative handling of ongoing matters and make sure everything is properly documented.
You are also closely involved in revenue maximization through upselling, revenue management, cost control, and quality improvements. In addition, you have daily contact with our Housekeeping department, which is facilitated by an external company, to ensure that the day runs smoothly. Every shift brings new challenges, but one thing never changes: you deliver quality and exceed the expectations of both guests and your team.
As Front Office Manager, you will also play a key role in leading our transition to a fully self check-in experience. You will guide your team through this exciting change, ensuring that innovative technology enhances—not replaces—the personal connections that make every guest feel welcome. By combining operational excellence with a forward-thinking mindset, you’ll help shape the future of hospitality while delivering a seamless, modern arrival experience.

The newest hotel of our chain is located directly at metro station Overamstel. The location of this 4-star superior hotel is ideal: 5 minutes from the Zuidas and the RAI, 10 minutes from the city center and 20 minutes from Schiphol Airport. The hotel has 18 floors and 490 rooms with fresh, innovative design and high quality modern equipment. The 1,200 square meters of conference space is divided into 11 meeting rooms and a giant ballroom; the perfect location for large events and conferences! WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
• You have at least a bachelor‑level working and thinking ability (Hotel Management School is a plus).
• You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in a comparable working environment.
• You love to spend time in the lobby and speak to our guests.
• You have an eye for detail while maintaining oversight of the entire department.
• You are proactive in decision‑making and naturally take responsibility.
• You have a good command of English, spoken and written. Knowledge of an additional modern foreign language (French, German, Dutch or Spanish) is a strong advantage.
