The hotel is prominently located on the Vrijthof in Maastricht, adjescent to the St Servaas Basilica, and is characterised by its architectural values and recent large-scale renovation with new suites and a spa. The hotel consists of individually decorated rooms and suites, each with its own character and scale. The spa, called SANCTVM, is an integral part of the hotel and serves as an extension of your stay. The position

The General Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the hotel and spa, as well as for ensuring coherence between operations, the team and the guest experience. The role requires calmness, overview and consistency. Leadership here is not measured by visibility, but by reliability and care.

The General Manager aims for synergy with the director and ensures a stable organisation in which employees work with attention and precision. The style is approachable, professional and hospitable — in keeping with the scale and reputation of Maison Haas Hustinx.

Profile

The position requires a General Manager with experience in high-end hospitality, preferably in a small-scale, international environment. Someone who understands that hospitality often lies in what is left unsaid.

• Experience in a final responsibility hospitality role

• Calm, clear and people-oriented leadership style

• Organisational and financial insight

• Sense of context, service and discretion

• Fluent command of Dutch and English is required

• Knowledge of German and/or French is an advantage

• Willingness to be flexible in terms of availability

• Full-time employment (40 hours)
