Groups & Events Manager - Amsterdam

Conservatorium Hotel is looking for a Groups & Events Manager to join our Sales team.

As Groups & Events Manager you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Responsibility over the general commercial strategy of the department.

• Managing relationships with our key accounts; identify and prospect new business opportunities, clients and markets.

• Ensure that all team members maintain and develop customer relationships in the segment they are responsible for

• Anticipate market trends and design products and channels in advance to seize emerging business opportunities.

• Embedding the hotel’s business strategies, pricing and rate structures.

• Establish new and build on existing relationships with our clients and partners to increase the brand awareness for the Conservatorium Hotel and Mandarin Oriental.

• Ensure close collaboration with the other teams of the commercial department (Reservations, Revenue, Sales and Marketing), as well as the operational team from Food & Beverage to drive and meeting the overall commercial targets of the hotel are achieved.

As Groups & Events Manager we expect from you: 

• Prior experience in similar positions in luxury hospitality market

• Experience managing and motivating a team;

• Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English language;

• Flexibility to work different shift patterns to support events and meet clients
