Conservatorium Hotel is looking for a Groups & Events Manager to join our Sales team.

As Groups & Events Manager you will be responsible for the following duties:
Responsibility over the general commercial strategy of the department.
Managing relationships with our key accounts; identify and prospect new business opportunities, clients and markets.
Ensure that all team members maintain and develop customer relationships in the segment they are responsible for
Anticipate market trends and design products and channels in advance to seize emerging business opportunities.
Embedding the hotel’s business strategies, pricing and rate structures.
Establish new and build on existing relationships with our clients and partners to increase the brand awareness for the Conservatorium Hotel and Mandarin Oriental.
Ensure close collaboration with the other teams of the commercial department (Reservations, Revenue, Sales and Marketing), as well as the operational team from Food & Beverage to drive and meeting the overall commercial targets of the hotel are achieved.
As Groups & Events Manager we expect from you:
Prior experience in similar positions in luxury hospitality market
Experience managing and motivating a team;
Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English language;
Flexibility to work different shift patterns to support events and meet clients
