We are recruiting a unique personality for the position of:
Guest Relations Officer | fulltime
What do we expect from you:
o As a Guest Relations Officer, you are responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests, ensuring an unforgettable stay from arrival to departure;
o You welcome guests and, together with the rest of the team, make sure they feel welcome and at home; you act as the primary point of contact during their stay;
o By listening and seeing each guest as an individual, you provide personalized service and fulfil special request and wishes;
o You handle any guest complaints or issues in a professional and effective manner;
o You organize and coordinate special guest events, such as birthdays, anniversaries, et cetera;
o You maintain contact with guests before, during and after their stay to ensure their needs are consistently met and to gather feedback;
o You evaluate the feedback received and use it to improve processes and perfect service;
o You know the hotel inside out and are familiar with all the ins and outs of our rooms and facilities;
o You ensure that you and your team are always aware of local highlights and events so that guests can make the most of their stay;
o You provide conciërge services;
o You ensure there is enough entertainment for all types of weather and all types of guests;
o You, along with the Front Office Team, serve as the main link between guests and the various hotel departments;
o You ensure the commercial optimalization of the Guest Relations department;
o Together with the rest of the team, you maintain the reception area and local products boutique to impeccable standards, creating a luxurious and welcoming atmosphere.
Who are we looking for:
o You have succesfully completed a degree in hotel management, tourism or a related field and have gained sufficient experience in a 4* or 5* hotel (5* is preferred);
o You possess excellent communication skills in Dutch and English and ideally speak at least French and/or German; preferably both. Proficiency in any other language is a plus;
o You have a warm personality with a well-groomed appearance, demonstrating a guest-oriented attitude and possessing a listening ear;
o You are proactive in identifying and solving problems to ensure a flawless guest experience;
o With your eye for detail, you constantly strive to optimize work processes and guest satisfaction;
o You are resilient to stress and able to perform under pressure;
o You are driven to take on challenges and lead our organization to the top collectively;
o You are a team player who is motivated to achieve success not as an individual, but together as a team.
