That’s why we are currently looking for a Guest Service Supervisor who takes pride in leading that team, sets the standard in every interaction, and ensures that every guest feels truly seen and cared for from the moment they arrive.
What you'll do
As Guest Service Supervisor, you support the Front Office Manager in leading the team and coordinating all guest service activities, with the goal of achieving the highest guest satisfaction. You ensure the team consistently upholds our LQA, Forbes 5* and Michelin Keys standards in every interaction, every shift. You lead by example on the floor: handling check-ins and check-outs, resolving guest complaints with care and empathy, and providing personalized advice on hotel amenities and Amsterdam. You oversee scheduling, run daily briefings and periodic team meetings, and coach and train new colleagues. You play a key role in VIP and Groups & Events meetings and ensure full compliance with safety, HACCP, Green Key and hotel brand standards.
Who you are
At least 2 years of relevant experience as a (senior) receptionist or supervisor, preferably in a 5-star hotel | Strong leadership and communication skills with a genuine, guest-focused attitude | Fluent in English, spoken and written | Skilled in multitasking and staying composed in a fast-paced environment | Familiar with reservation systems and hotel software | Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Nice to have
Passion for luxury hospitality and a commitment to creating unforgettable experiences | Experience with LQA, Forbes 5☆ or Michelin Keys standards | Experience in leading and mentoring a diverse team | Familiarity with different cultures and languages | Local knowledge of Amsterdam for personalized guest recommendations.
