HOTEL THE NOBLEMEN
In May 2021, Hotel The Noblemen opened its doors. Located in a monumental canal house on the Leidsegracht, this fully renovated luxury boutique hotel boasts 13 unique guest rooms and a spa facility.

Explorers, inventors, philosophers, doctors, and artists – each of our 13 distinctive rooms represents a great Nobleman of the Dutch 17th Century. With its luxury interior and prime location, Hotel The Noblemen is the ultimate luxury boutique hotel of today, with a soul fueled by the history of yesterday.

We are looking for a Hotel Operations Intern to join our young and dynamic team. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to learn every aspect of boutique hotel operations, from front office and guest relations to housekeeping and back-of-house processes.

YOUR ROLE
As our Hotel Operations Intern, you will gain practical experience across all departments of the hotel. You will work closely with our General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and team members to ensure a smooth and exceptional guest experience. This internship is a unique opportunity to develop skills in hospitality, operations, and service excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Front Office
o Conducting check in and check out with MEWS PMS system 
o Concierge: recommending restaurant/activities for guests – help to plan their days
o Guest relations: in-room set ups and personalized gifts for special occasions
o Address guest requests, questions and complaints 

• F&B 
o Preparing and serving breakfast for room service breakfast experience
o Responding to and serving in-room drink/snack orders 

• Spa 
o Make reservations for our Spa Facility 
o Preparing the Spa for our guests 

• Housekeeping 
o Supervising role of checking the rooms after cleaning and making final adjustments to ensure perfect cleanliness
o In really busy periods, helping out with Housekeeping duties

WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• Enthusiastic and motivated individuals with a genuine interest in hospitality
• Strong communication skills and a guest-focused mindset
• Flexible, proactive, and willing to learn by doing
• Fluency in English, Dutch is a strong advantage
• Availability for a minimum of 24 hours per week

• Minimum internship duration of at least 18 weeks
• Availability for a minimum of 24 hours per week
• Our internship allowance is €750,- per month
• Food during your shift is provided
