Utrecht City Concepts consists of three unique hotels and stylish apartments, all located in the heart of Utrecht. From the characterful Malie House, Eye Hotel and The Hunfeld to our Utrecht City Apartments and Hilversum City Apartments: each is a special place where hospitality and experience come together.

Eye Hotel is located in the heart of the city, just behind the lively Voorstraat. It is the perfect base from which to explore Utrecht. In 1858, the building became home to an eye hospital, but today it is known for its eye for guests.

With attention to every guest, as well as to the history of this beautiful building and Utrecht, every member of the Eye Hotel team helps create a unique experience for our guests.

A day in the life of a Housekeeping Employee

• You start your day with a briefing from the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor and then get to work independently. You prepare rooms for new guests by making beds, thoroughly cleaning bathrooms and leaving each room clean, fresh and welcoming.

• You also replenish supplies such as towels and toiletries and keep the common areas clean. If you notice a technical issue, you report it to your supervisor immediately.

• No two days are the same: sometimes you may also help prepare rooms or assist with internal room moves. Thanks to your efforts, our guests can enjoy a clean and comfortable environment every day.
