In the role of Housekeeping Supervisor at Grand Hotel Amrâth Kurhaus in Scheveningen—one of The Hague’s most iconic locations—you will be at the helm of a passionate team. You ensure that our 270 luxurious rooms, suites, and public areas always sparkle. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you guarantee that guests feel welcome the moment they arrive and that the historic character of our landmark building (dating back to 1818) is preserved. This varied leadership role in The Hague combines organization, hospitality, and coaching; no two days are the same in the vibrant heart of Scheveningen!

What will you be doing?

In this position (also known as Floor Supervisor or Assistant Executive Housekeeper), you are responsible for the daily operations of the housekeeping department. Your duties include:

• Leading, coaching, and motivating the housekeeping team to ensure everyone performs at their best.

• Overseeing the impeccable cleaning of rooms, suites, and public areas, in keeping with the Kurhaus's five-star standards.

• Creating staff schedules and assigning tasks, balancing quality and efficiency.

• Monitoring the order, cleanliness, and appearance of the hotel, and reporting any issues or technical defects via internal systems.

• Guiding new employees, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth onboarding process within our team.

• Collaborating closely with the Front Office and Maintenance departments to create an unforgettable guest experience and ensure the smooth running of events.

What do you bring to the table?

• You have demonstrable experience in housekeeping and facility management, preferably in a hotel environment.

• You are flexible and happy to work weekends and public holidays in The Hague.

• You are eager to take responsibility and know how to inspire and motivate others in the workplace.

• You have a keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to quality, and work in a precise, structured manner.

• You have strong communication skills in Dutch and, preferably, in English as well.

• Salary in accordance with the Hospitality Collective Labour Agreement (reference role: Head Housekeeper II), ranging from €2,505.04 to €3,032.79 gross per month based on a 38-hour workweek, depending on your experience in a leadership role.
