Radisson Hotel Amsterdam Schiphol Airport has just opened a 4-star airport hotel, and we are looking for a passionate and professional Human Resource Manager to build, lead, and develop our people strategy. With 281 rooms, 6 meeting and event spaces, and the dynamic energy of an opening phase, this is your opportunity to create a strong team culture, support our colleagues, and set the foundation for long-term success.

As HR Manager, you are responsible for developing, implementing, and safeguarding all HR strategies and processes within the hotel. You play a key role in attracting, developing, and retaining talent, while ensuring a positive, safe and compliant working environment.

You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, supporting managers and employees in all HR-related matters and contributing directly to the overall success of the hotel.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing the HR strategy aligned with the hotel’s objectives

  • Managing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, and offboarding

  • Advising and supporting department heads on HR policies, performance management, and employee relations

  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR procedures

  • Driving employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention initiatives

  • Leading learning & development activities and supporting career growth within the team

  • Managing payroll processes and HR administration accurately and efficiently

  • Monitoring HR metrics and reporting to the General Manager

  • Handling employee relations matters, including absence, performance, and disciplinary processes

  • Building a strong company culture and fostering collaboration across departments

You are approachable, proactive, and solution-oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility and a genuine passion for people. You know how to balance business needs with employee wellbeing and are confident in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in an HR Manager or similar role, preferably within hospitality

  • Strong knowledge of Dutch labor law and HR best practices/instruments

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work both strategically and operationally

  • Experience with recruitment, employee relations, and performance management

  • A hands-on and flexible mindset

  • Fluent in English (Dutch is required)
