As an Independent Working (sushi) Chef, you will be preparing dishes in our hotel bar. OZZO Food & Drinks is an exclusive, trendy hotel bar in the Van der Valk Hotel Eindhoven. The menu offers a tasty mix of sushi dishes, burgers, steaks, and delicious curries.
In this role, you are guest-oriented, independent, and flexible. You will be in a place where you can learn a lot about this beautiful profession. If you are looking for an exciting job and would like to help us further enhance culinary quality, then this position is for you.

What can a workday bring you?
As an Independent Working (Sushi) Chef, you are jointly responsible for the daily operations and progress in the Ozzo kitchen. You are also jointly responsible for overseeing the (technical) preparation of dishes according to our recipes. You provide input and are creative in terms of menu composition and changes, recipes, and methods. All this under the guidance of the chef. You ensure a tidy workplace and work according to HACCP. What qualities and experience make us happy?
· You are a certified independent working chef (level 3) or you have recent demonstrable, multi-year experience in restaurants and hotels at a professional level;
· You have (basic) experience in the sushi kitchen;
· You are available for a longer period;
· You are culinary curious;
· You are a real go-getter;
· You can handle stress well;
· You are presentable, hospitable, and service-oriented;
· A team player, but you can also work independently well;
· Flexible (also on holidays).
