Located at the Keizersgracht, in the heart of the Nine Streets neighborhood is Amsterdam’s best kept secret: The Dylan Amsterdam. A 5-star luxury boutique hotel where we offer sincere and personal service and create memorable experiences for our guests. A historical environment with 41 unique hotel rooms, 4 private rooms for meetings & events and three restaurants: Bar Brasserie OCCO and Two Michelin star awarded Restaurant Vinkeles.

As a (Jr.) Event Manager, you are responsible for optimally selling, coordinating, and organizing group and event requests, ranging from meetings and corporate dinners to weddings, private dining, or exclusive full-hotel buy-outs. Your commercial and communication skills are key in this role. You are the first point of contact for our guests and clients. from the initial inquiry to aftersales. You identify their needs, translate them into concrete proposals, and ensure a flawless handover to the operational teams.

In doing so, you guarantee that every event, no matter how big or small, is executed to perfection!

Do you recognize yourself in the following points?

-          You have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably from a Hotel Management School.

-          You have sufficient relevant experience in a comparable hotel in a Banquet Sales / Groups & Events role.

-          You think commercially and communicate clearly and convincingly.

-          You excel at multitasking in a dynamic environment: you remain calm under pressure, think flexibly, act proactively, and notice every detail that makes a difference for our guests.

-          You have excellent command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.

-          Experience with Smart Event Manager software is an advantage.
