nhow Amsterdam RAI is a social and multicultural hub for globetrotters, business travelers, and Amsterdam locals. The iconic building, facing the various wind directions, symbolizes the melting pot the city of Amsterdam has always been and continues to be. The impressive 91-metre-tall building is in the Zuidas district, right next to the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre, offering its guests a dynamic headquarters and home base.

Housekeeping is fully managed by the hotel as of January 2023. We are now in the process of building the team. Now, the team consists of a housekeeping quality manager, 3 assistant managers, 10+ floor supervisors. The room cleaning and AD teams consist of a core hotel staff and many agency employees. Our goal is to have our own team of 70+ employees completed by the end of 2023.

Who are you?

• You are the backbone of our housekeeping department, and you ensure that everyone can do their job by providing them with linen. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is reliable and takes responsibility.
• You always think one step ahead and you exceed the expectations of employees and guests. Nothing is impossible.
• You enjoy a physically active job and are not afraid of a challenge; those linen carts are quite heavy!
• Good service locations are important to you, you know what quality means to guests, and you have an eye for detail.
• You like to work flexible hours and work both in a team and independently.
• You speak Dutch or English.

What will you do? 

What is the first thing a hotel guest thinks about when staying in a hotel? Precisely! A nice, clean bed and soft towels. As a Linen Room Employee, you ensure that every room attendant has clean sheets and towels. You distribute the linen throughout the hotel, and you also ensure that amenities are replenished in all departments. You ensure that there is always enough linen in the linen room and that the dirty linen is downstairs in time so that it can be collected. You support your colleagues where you can ensure that all NH Hotel Group quality standards are met.
