Attention! We are looking for a hospitality star to join us as Maintenance Manager at Staybridge Suites The Hague – Parliament!

Staybridge Suites The Hague – Parliament is an extended stay hotel with 101 suites. All rooms are equipped with their own kitchen and a (semi-)separate bedroom. Will you help us make our guests feel at home when they are away for a longer period of time? Public transport stops directly in front or just around the corner. What will you do as Maintenance Manager?
As a Maintenance Manager, no two days are ever the same!
You will be responsible for everything related to maintenance and technical operations inside and outside the hotel. You are the main point of contact for all technical and maintenance matters and provide direction for your colleague’s work. This means you need to be confident, able to set clear priorities, create and monitor maintenance schedules, and coordinate tasks effectively. You take the lead in organizing daily operations and ensuring the right distribution of responsibilities.

With your technical expertise, you solve malfunctions and carry out (basic) repairs on equipment, installations, facilities, sanitary systems, and lighting. One day you may be performing inspections and preventive maintenance, while the next you will be coordinating technical activities with headquarters, suppliers, and external contractors. Thanks to your knowledge and leadership, you make sure everything runs smoothly and both the team and the hotel operate at their best.

Who Are We Looking For?!
For this position, we are looking for a technically skilled professional who knows their craft. Working independently is no problem for you. Flexibility in working days and hours comes naturally to you. We may also call on you during weekends if an issue arises. You live in the area of The Hague, are well organized, and have strong planning skills. You have a good command of both Dutch and English.

In addition, you bring:

MBO level of working and thinking, with at least 1–2 years of experience in a comparable technical role;
Meeting the requirements of NEN 3140 at the level of Installation Responsible is a plus;
Stress resistance, a proactive attitude, team spirit, and hospitality mindset;
Attention to quality and detail;
A sense of humor and genuine enjoyment in your work;
Various trainings such as BHV (Emergency Response) and other technical training courses where applicable.
