About the Role
Are you the kind of person who makes sure everything runs like clockwork? We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep our beautiful, historic hotel in Amsterdam in excellent condition for our guests.
In this role, you'll:
Respond promptly and professionally to technical issues and requests from guests and colleagues
Perform routine inspections to identify and resolve potential problems early
Ensure all repairs meet our high-quality standards
Lead and carry out scheduled maintenance projects to keep our rooms looking great and functioning perfectly
About You
You enjoy solving technical issues and take pride in maintaining a smooth-running building. Here’s what we’re looking for:
A broad range of technical skills. Painting, AC systems, you know it all!
Ability to work independently, set priorities, and manage your schedule
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
Calm under pressure, with a hands-on and solution-oriented mindset
A proactive, “can-do” attitude – you’re always ready to go the extra mile
Basic English proficiency is required, Dutch speaking is a plus
Willingness to work evenings and/or weekends as needed
A valid driver’s license and residency in or near Amsterdam

What We Offer:
Salary ranges between 2500 euros and 2900 euros
Prospect of a permanent contract
8% holiday allowance and pension contribution
Travel allowance for commuting from outside Amsterdam
25 vacation days based on a full-time contract (38 hours per week)
