ABOUT BUNK 

In Bunk’s monumental churches, you’ll find a cross between a hostel, a hotel, a restaurant, a coworking space, an art gallery, a cultural event venue, a traveler’s gem and a local favourite. Far from your typical hospitality concept, then. Our brand is built around personality, connection and stories, and our team is made of real people from all walks of life. Rather than extensive experience, what our team has in common is a love for Bunk, our communities and connecting with others, whether that be through pointing them towards the best local experiences in our cities or creating the best experience on their plates. 

ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP

At Bunk, we don’t just tell stories, we create them. From the curious traveler who has their first ever cocktail in a church, to the local artist showcasing their work, to the chef plating up a dish with a twist, we’ve designed every corner of Bunk to make moments worth sharing.

As our Marketing & Brand Intern, you’ll help us capture those moments and turn them into stories that resonate. You’ll be part of a small team that shapes how Bunk shows up in the world: online, offline and everywhere in between. From brainstorming bold campaign ideas to creating scroll-stopping content, you’ll get hands-on experience with all things branding and (digital) marketing.

You’ll work closely with our Brand Manager and external partners to bring our brand to life across our website, social media, newsletters, events and in-house experiences. You’ll also have the freedom to pitch your own ideas – whether it’s a new TikTok series, a local collaboration or a quirky campaign that only Bunk could pull off, nothing is too wild to consider.

ABOUT YOU

• You’re a natural storyteller, through words, visuals and vibes

• You’re curious, creative and not afraid to try something new

• You’re fluent in English (Dutch is a big plus!)

• You’re available to work full time 

• You’re studying something like communications, marketing, media, branding or creative business

• You know your way around social media and maybe even some design and editing tools (Canva, InDesign, Lightroom, Premier Pro etc.)

• You love culture, people and places with personality

• You’re organised, proactive and can work independently (but love teamwork too)
