Job description Night shift

As a night shift, you are the main point of contact for our guests throughout the night and are responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and peaceful environment within the hotel. You ensure that our guests receive the assistance they need during the night, monitor the safety of the hotel, and are the trusted face at the reception desk. In addition, you prepare breakfast so that everything is ready for our guests to enjoy a great start to their day.

What you will do

You warmly welcome our guests upon arrival and departure and provide assistance throughout their stay
You are the main point of contact for our guests during the night and assist them in a friendly and professional manner
You independently carry out front desk duties, including checking guests in and out and answering their questions
You provide guests with information about the hotel, the local area, and practical matters
You monitor the safety, security, and overall peace and quiet within and around the hotel
You regularly conduct security rounds throughout the hotel during the night to ensure that everything is safe and in order
You identify any irregularities or potentially unsafe situations and take appropriate action in accordance with established procedures
You handle any nighttime incidents, guest requests, questions, or complaints calmly and professionally
You ensure that the reception area and public spaces remain clean, tidy, and well-presented throughout the night
You prepare breakfast so that the breakfast buffet and all necessary items are ready for the morning
You check that everything required for breakfast is available, prepared, and ready for service
You follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards
You ensure a clear and thorough handover to the morning shift and report any relevant incidents or noteworthy matters from the night
You work independently and are able to set priorities effectively when several matters require your attention at the same time

Je werkt graag schoon en netjes. Hygiëne is voor jou belangrijk en je zorgt ervoor dat je werkplek en het hotel netjes worden achtergelaten voor je collega’s.
Je communiceert duidelijk en professioneel, zowel in het Nederlands als in het Engels
Je kunt goed overweg met computersystemen zoals het PMS-systeem MEWS, Microsoft Word en andere digitale systemen
Je blijft rustig in onverwachte of drukke situaties en kunt goed multitasken
Je bent flexibel inzetbaar en vindt het geen probleem om weekenden en feestdagen te werken
Een BHV- of Sociale Hygiëne-diploma is mooi meegenomen, of je bent bereid deze via ons te behalen
Ervaring in de hospitality of klantenservice is een pluspunt
