We are recruiting a unique personality for the position of:
Reservations Manager | fulltime
What do we expect from you:
o You manage both internal and external reservation requests and are responsible for their administrative processing within the reservation systems;
o You supervise the Reservations Team and ensure daily task allocation. Additionally, you inspire and motivate them through a proactive and positive attitude: ´leading by example´;
o You are responsible for implementing policies, procedures and SOPs in consultation with the Director of Sales & Marketing;
o You are responsible for achieving (or exceeding) the predetermined revenue targets from spa, restaurant and room reservations and identify upselling opportunities;
o You check reservation and arrival reports daily;
o You prepare various reports and submit them to the Director of Sales & Marketing;
o You maintain close contact with the Sales Team and the Revenue Manager regarding occupancy, rates and reservation analysis;
o You maintain close contact with the Guest Relations regarding returning guests and VIPs;
o Together with the team, you inform guests about the hotel and its facilities, as well as the associated prices and packages. Additionally, you are aware of the ´places to be´ in the area;
o You also ensure a correct flow of information before, during and after the guest´s stay;
o You maintain contact with guests, groups, tour operators and companies;
o You ensure that guests´ wishes and needs are fulfilled to create the best possible guest experience, in collaboration with the Front Office Team and Guest Relations;
o You compile reservation overviews for information to other departments and lists of data about arrival / stay duration / payment methods / requested services / etc.;
o You are part of the Sales Team and report to the Director of Sales & Marketing.
Who we are looking for:
o You hold a degree in hotel management;
o You gained experience in a 4* or 5* hotel in a similar role (5* is preferred);
o You have knowledge of Opera (PMS) or can quickly familiarize yourself with it;
o You are capable of working independently but are also a team player;
o You enjoy working towards solutions;
o You are willing to take initiative and responsibility;
o You possess strong communication skills;
o You are adept at organizing and planning;
o You are ambitious and driven to exceed our guests´ expectations;
o You are flexibly available, occasionally including evenings / weekends;
o You are resilient to stress and work efficiently;
o You have proficient language skills in Dutch/English, and additionally, you speak at least French and/or German, preferably both. Any other language is a plus.
