Your Role
The Sales Executive plays a key role within the Commercial team of Room Mate Aitana. This position supports the full commercial cycle, combining sales activities, event and group coordination, and commercial support tasks. The role is hands-on, dynamic, and designed for someone who enjoys variety and close collaboration with both clients and internal teams. Ideally, we are looking for a commercial starter with a generalist mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Manage and follow up on incoming corporate, group, and event inquiries
Prepare tailored proposals, quotations, and agreements in line with Room Mate standards
Support account management and new business development initiatives
Conduct site inspections and client visits
Maintain accurate CRM and commercial administration
Event & Group Coordination
Take ownership of confirmed bookings after commercial handover
Coordinate all details with Operations, Front Office, F&B, and external partners
Prepare function sheets and planning overviews (BEOs)
Act as the primary contact for clients during the planning phase
Ensure a smooth transition from planning to execution
On-Site Support & Execution
Support the execution of events and group stays when required
Handle last-minute changes and client requests efficiently
Ensure delivery aligns with Room Mate’s service standards and agreements
Aftersales & Commercial Follow-up
Coordinate post-event invoicing and financial follow-up
Collect client feedback and support review and repeat business initiatives
Contribute to continuous improvement of commercial processes
Marketing & Commercial Support
Support commercial presentations, fact sheets, and sales tools
Assist with market research and competitor insights
Support the organization of sales events, fam trips, and showcases and represent the hotel in such events.
Support commercial manager in reporting
Your Profile
Some experience in hospitality, events, or commercial roles
Strong organizational and coordination skills
Commercial mindset combined with a service-oriented approach
Confident communicator in English (Dutch is an big advantage)
Comfortable working with IT systems and quick learner (CRM, PMS, Planner systems)
Proactive, flexible, and collaborative team player
