The soon fully refurbished Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel has the position of a Sales Manager available, in one of Europe's most dynamic cities.

 

What are my responsibilities?

The Sales Manager proactively leads sales efforts and handles international sales opportunities for the Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel. In this position, you are responsible for group and catering business and you need to be able to upsell each business opportunity to maximize revenue. You will implement the brand service strategy and brand initiatives in all aspects of the sales process and drive customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience. You are eager to achieve personal and team-related revenue goals.

  • You have a pro-active sales drive, and excellent selling skills and you are able to close a deal; 
  • You have strong verbal, written and presentation skills;
  • You are comfortable making decisions and taking initiative;
  • You are not afraid to ask questions and you can uncover the client’s needs;
  • You are motivated to work towards achievable although challenging goals.

 

To be eligible for this position you…

  • Like to work in a Sales environment ;
  • Have a Bachelor degree in Hospitality Management or Business Administration;
  • Have 2 -5 years of experience in a pro-active Sales position;
  • Have experience in the hospitality industry and knowledge of the (international) Hospitality market is preferred;
  • Can communicate fluently in Dutch and English, a third language is a plus.
