Restaurant Canvas - on the seventh floor of Volkshotel - is looking for an enthusiastic shift leader with focus on the mornings. From early in the morning until late at night, Canvas is a place for breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktails. A meeting place where many different people come together. Do you enjoy working in a creative and international environment and do you have experience in managing at least 5 colleagues? Then you might become our new breakfast shift leader.

Are you:

• A resident of Amsterdam (or its surroundings)?

• Representative, socially skilled, stress-resistant and guest-oriented?

• A team player and born leader?

• Willing to work early mornings and weekends?

• Goal-oriented and organized?

This is what your day looks like:

Before the start of your shift  you clock in and take the elevator to the seventh floor. The atmosphere in Canvas is free and informal, so you don't have to change. Together with the operational team you are responsible for good service, but also for efficient staffing of the team. You guide, stimulate and coach your employees. Your presence contributes to a good team spirit. At the end of your shift you ensure adequate handling of the day's administration. Hanging out after your shift? No problem. Working with a view of the city of Amsterdam is nice, but enjoying it yourself with a closing drink might be even better. You can also take a dip in our hot tubs on the eighth floor. Not home yet? You don't have to, as an employee you get a discount on everything (programming, rooms, food and drinks) in the hotel.
