About the roll
As a Shiftleader, you are the core of our service. You will open or close Stadscafe, inspire and lead your colleagues through the breakfast, lunch or dinner service. This hands-on role is essential for constantly improving service and quality. Realizing a top experience from your guests is key. Of course, for this, a far above average passion for product and hospitality is a must.
Stadscafe stands for good food, great drinks and a pure and genuine atmosphere. A place for anything from early birds with their newspaper and coffee in the morning, to the lovebirds on a datenight with a cocktail at the bar. Our restaurant is located in the heart of Westerpark, in a historic building right next to the Conscious Hotel Westerpark. Whether hotel guests come in for breakfast, locals drop by for drinks, or someone is looking for a relaxed moment, you make sure they feel immediately welcome and at home.
About You
You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position;
You are a team player who manages the restaurant team and supervises where necessary;
You have a good command of the Dutch and English language;
Hospitality is key for you;
You are responsible and representative;
You live in or around Amsterdam.

We offer a suitable salary according to the collective labour agreement for hospitality in reference scale 5;
