Ibis Schiphol Amsterdam Airport, one of the largest hotels in the Benelux, is on the hunt for a talented Sous Chef!


In our hotel, we boast 3 vibrant restaurants: our Burgerbar, serving up quick and delicious bites; the á la carte restaurant, L'Estaminet, for guests seeking a leisurely dining experience; and a buffet restaurant catering to tour groups, stranded passengers, and early morning breakfast seekers.


As our newest Sous Chef, you'll be at the heart of our kitchen operations alongside our Head Chef, Michael. Together, you'll brainstorm fresh menu ideas, mentor new team members, and ensure seamless kitchen operations. With multiple dining venues, your ability to coordinate tasks efficiently will be paramount. Whether it's smoothly handling a sudden influx of stranded passengers or guiding the team through a busy service, your cool-headed leadership will be invaluable.


Got a flair for innovation? Fantastic! We're all about embracing new ideas to delight our guests. Of course, you'll also roll up your sleeves and assist with food preparation, while ensuring strict adherence to health and safety standards. Plus, you'll play a key role in managing stock levels and optimizing staffing schedules for each shift.
