As a Spa Therapist, you are the face of our luxury wellness environment at Rotterdam’s Leuvehaven, with a particular focus on facial treatments and skincare. You specialise in skin health and delivering personalised, results-driven facial treatments tailored to the individual needs and preferences of our guests. Your primary responsibility is to perform a variety of facial treatments, carefully analysing each guest’s skin and providing expert advice on the most suitable treatments and skincare products. You combine technical expertise with personal attention and genuine hospitality, ensuring that every guest enjoys a treatment that is both relaxing and effective. You stay up to date with the latest developments in skincare and beauty and apply your knowledge professionally.

In addition to your expertise in facial treatments, you contribute to the overall spa experience. You create a warm and relaxing atmosphere, deliver outstanding service and maintain a well-presented treatment environment where quality, hygiene and personal attention are paramount. Where necessary, you also assist with other spa and wellness activities.

Responsiblities:

• Professionally perform a variety of facial treatments, focusing on skincare, skin improvement and relaxation;

• Analyse guests’ skin and advise them on suitable treatments, skincare routines and products;

• Develop personalised treatment recommendations based on each guest’s skin condition, preferences and individual needs;

• Provide expert advice on professional skincare products and encourage retail sales through a service-oriented approach;

• Build trusting relationships with guests through personal attention, expertise and a professional attitude;

• Deliver a luxurious, relaxing and welcoming treatment experience in line with Hilton’s high standards of quality;

• Carefully prepare, clean and maintain treatment rooms, equipment and materials;

• Ensure compliance with all applicable hygiene, safety and quality standards;

• Answer guests’ questions and provide professional advice on skincare and beauty;

• Identify additional guest needs and recommend follow-up treatments and suitable products;

• Perform additional spa and wellness treatments when required and support the daily operations of the spa;

• Work closely with colleagues within the spa and other hotel departments to enhance the overall guest experience.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional and service-oriented Spa Therapist with a clear specialisation in, or a strong affinity for, facial treatments, skincare and skin improvement. You are passionate about your profession, have relevant knowledge of the skin and know how to combine your expertise with the personal attention and hospitality expected in a luxury hotel spa.

• You have a relevant qualification in beauty therapy, skincare, skin therapy or a similar field, and/or demonstrable experience in professional facial treatments;

• You have proven knowledge of facial treatments, skin analysis and different skin types and conditions;

• You have a strong interest in skin improvement, professional skincare and advising guests on skincare products;

• Experience with luxury facial treatments and various facial techniques is an advantage;

• You work accurately and have a keen eye for detail, hygiene and quality;

• You are guest-focused, professional and an effective communicator;

• You have a well-groomed and professional appearance;

• You are able to work independently while also enjoying working as part of a team;

• You are flexible and willing to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays;

• A good command of both Dutch and English is desirable;

• You are passionate about wellness and enjoy creating memorable moments for guests.
