Highland Group Hotel is looking for a Maintenance Employee.

Who are we?

The Highland Group owns six successful, small-scale hotels located in the heart of Amsterdam:
Boutique Hotel The Highlander, Hotel Sint Nicolaas, Tourist Inn, The Highland House, Mister Highland Hotel, and Highland Atlantis Hotel.

What will you do as a maintenance employee?

Working in the Technical Service department at the Highland Group is highly varied. You'll encounter many types of technical issues. The full Technical Service team consists of a small group of four colleagues who maintain good communication and support each other and other team members when needed.

Your tasks will include:

• Resolving malfunctions, performing general maintenance, and repairing hotel facilities;

• Carrying out minor repairs on equipment, sanitary installations, lighting, door and window fittings, etc.;

• Touch-up painting to repair damage;

• Collaborating with external partners on longer-term maintenance projects;

• Advising and contributing to sustainable solutions—for example, choosing the right materials to increase durability and reduce (repair) costs.
