You work closely with your team to ensure smooth, energetic service – from set-up through to last call. You bring the rhythm to the room and keep the bar flowing.

Responsibilities  

• Be thoroughly familiar with the cocktail, spirits, beer and wine menus – including ingredients, origins, and pairings.

• Provide exceptional service at the bar and tables, maintaining attentiveness and precision.

• Offer personalized drink recommendations and upsell premium options where possible.

• Serve beverages to guests, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and presentation.

• Engage with guests warmly, creating a lively and inviting bar atmosphere.

• Maintain cleanliness and order in the bar and surrounding seating areas at all times.

• Set up, stock, and maintain bar stations, including glassware, garnishes, tools, and condiments.

• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and floor staff to ensure smooth service.

• Handle payments accurately and close guest tabs via the POS system.

• Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally.

• Uphold hygiene, safety, and alcohol service standards at all times.

What You’ll Need:

• Strong beverage knowledge – from spirits and cocktails to wines and beers, or eager to learn.

• Fluency in English; Dutch and other languages are a plus.

• Presentable appearance and engaging personality.

• High level of responsibility and service orientation.

• Flexible and proactive mindset, ready to handle busy nights and unexpected rushes.

• Familiarity with Micros (POS) system.

• Comfortable with rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in a bar, lounge, or high-end service setting.

• MBO+ working and thinking level.

• Must meet legal age for alcohol service.
