Job Description
As Welcome Office Manager (Front Office Manager), you report to the Director of Rooms and lead a diverse, high‑energy team responsible for the full guest journey. You ensure a seamless arrival, an elevated stay and a smooth departure and you empower your Talent to deliver bold, personalized service.
Your team includes:
Welcome Desk Managers & Moonlight Managers overseeing daily operations
Welcome Desk Agents in both Bank & Exchange buildings
Whatever/Whenever® Team handling guest requests and enquiries
Insider Team creating WOW moments and in‑the‑know experiences
You are responsible for communicating guest information throughout the hotel, ensuring operational excellence, and representing the Welcome Department within the hotel’s Management Team.
Main Responsibilities
Lead, coach and inspire your Welcome Team to deliver exceptional service from arrival to departure.
Ensure seamless operations across both buildings, following W service standards and procedures.
Create personalized WOW moments together with the Insider and Whatever/Whenever teams.
Be the guardian of the guest journey, ensuring every touchpoint is stylish, warm and on‑brand.
Collaborate with all departments — from Housekeeping to B&F to Engineering to elevate the full guest experience.
Ensure Talent are well‑prepared for each shift, with strong communication and flawless handovers.
Work in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment with music, movement and constant guest interaction.
Champion the W brand, ensuring the Welcome Office reflects the W lifestyle at all times.
Handle escalations with confidence, always putting the guest at the center of every decision.
Support the team on the floor — hands‑on, visible and leading by example.
Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
Minimum 2 years of experience as Front Office Manager in a luxury or lifestyle hotel.
Strong leadership skills with a people‑first mindset.
Able to thrive in a dynamic, high‑paced environment.
Passion for the W brand, design, culture and innovation.
Hands‑on, detail‑oriented and always striving for perfection.
A creative, upbeat personality with a flexible, pragmatic approach.
