In the beating heart of Amsterdam, work is underway on what will undoubtedly soon be one of the city's most iconic buildings. The Diamond is the iconic building that gives Leidseplein a whole new face. The glass, sparkling exterior facade refers to the famous diamond Koh-I-Noor, Persian for 'mountain of light'. With this, the glorious history of Amsterdam, City of Diamonds, is once again anchored in the city.

In The Diamond you will find a unique boutique hotel with 36 luxurious rooms; a table d'hôte restaurant where changing top chefs show their skills in an intimate setting to a group of up to 18 people; the legendary cocktail club, open to members and guests only; a premium steak house; and, of course, the reinvented Heineken Hoek.

As Admin Support at The Diamond, you play a crucial role in maintaining efficient administrative processes. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to various departments within the hotel, including Front Office, Housekeeping, and Management. Additionally, you will manage and organize documentation with attention to accuracy and compliance with hotel standards. Coordinating communication within the hotel and with external stakeholders, assisting in planning and organizing meetings, events, and appointments, and handling inquiries and requests from guests, staff, and management are integral to this role. Moreover, you will actively contribute to the development and improvement of administrative processes.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for administration and hospitality. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in administrative roles, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail are essential. Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English are necessary. Proficiency in office applications (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.), adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are key attributes. A service-oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate in a team make you a suitable candidate for this role.
