We are recruiting a unique personality for the position of:
Banqueting Manager | fulltime
What do we expect from you:
o Your role encompasses a variety of tasks, no day will be the same;
o You are responsible for the planning and organization of Meetings & Events;
o You provide basic technical support to guests in conference rooms;
o You collaborate with the Food & Beverage Team to deliver exceptional service to both corporate and leisure groups;
o You are operationally responsible for coordinating internal events;
o You are the point of contact for guests during these events and ensure their needs are met from A to Z;
o You act as the liaison between various departments such as Kitchen, Service and Sales;
o You oversee the team of banqueting staff and F&B hosts;
o You are responsible for drafting SOPs (standard operating procedures) to ensure consistency, efficiency and quality;
o You are in charge of quality control during events and evaluate afterwards to further refine future events.
Who are we looking for:
o You have successfully completed a degree in Event Management/F&B Management or Hotel Management;
o You are an enthusiastic personality with a positive demeanour;
o You posses a ´helicopter view´ to maintain an overview during various events, enabling effective coordination;
o You have a proactive attitude and can multitask and prioritize effectively;
o Flexibility is important; you certainly don´t have a nine-to-five mentality and working weekends is not unusual;
o You demonstrate an approachable attitude towards guests and maintain a well-groomed appearance;
o Out-of-the-box thinking is not unfamiliar to you and your working style is solution-oriented;
o You are knowledgeable about proper (classic) service and set a good example;
o You have strong empathetic skills and professional communication abilities;
o You can function as a team player but are also not hesitant to take responsibility independently;
o You work with precision, structure and have an eye for detail;
o You have excellent proficiency in both Dutch and English, knowledge of French and/or German is a significant asset.
