As Banqueting Manager at Haven Hotel Rotterdam, Curio Collection by Hilton & DoubleTree by Hilton Rotterdam Centre, you are the central link in the organisation of all our meetings, events, and banqueting activities. You ensure that every event, from business meetings to large-scale dinners, is perfectly prepared, coordinated, and executed. With 15 multifunctional rooms and a capacity of up to 600 guests, you will work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. You translate our guests’ wishes into flawless events and know how to not only meet expectations, but also structure and optimise them. In doing so, you combine operational leadership with commercial insight and a strong sense of guest experience.

Your key responsibilities:

• Coordinating and managing all banqueting and event activities across both hotels;

• Leading, coaching, and motivating the banqueting team during preparation and execution;

• Monitoring service quality, guest experience, presentation, and operational standards;

• Planning and optimising workforce deployment and operational processes;

• Monitoring budgets, costs, and revenues per event;

• Working closely with kitchen, sales, and marketing teams to ensure seamless event execution;

• Resolving operational challenges before and during events, with a focus on quality and speed;

• Continuously improving processes and service concepts within banqueting.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an energetic and service-oriented Banqueting Manager who can effortlessly maintain oversight in a dynamic hotel environment. You switch quickly, think ahead, and know exactly how to motivate teams to deliver high-level events together. Hospitality is in your DNA, and you instinctively understand what guests need to make their experience unforgettable.

In addition, you bring:

• Proven experience in banqueting and/or event management, preferably within the hotel industry;

• Strong leadership skills and experience in managing teams;

• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously;

• A proactive and stress-resistant attitude;

• Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality and service;

• Strong communication skills towards guests, colleagues, and external partners;

• Fluent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
