DeLola Podshotel is a modern pod hotel located in the heart of The Hague. We welcome travellers from all over the world, including solo travellers, couples, students, professionals, interns, groups and international/local visitors.

Our vision is simple: we want DeLola to become more than just a place to sleep. We are building a hospitality brand that brings together accommodation, community, partnerships and unique guest experiences.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for someone who can actively help put DeLola on the map and introduce our concept to organisations, businesses and communities across the Netherlands.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development & Partnerships Officer.

This is not a traditional office or reception role.

You will spend three days each week in the field, meeting organisations, building relationships, identifying opportunities and representing the DeLola brand.

Your fourth working day will be dedicated to administration, planning and reporting. This day may be worked from home and will also include your weekly progress meeting with the Operations & Hospitality Manager.

You will report directly to the Operations & Hospitality Manager and work alongside one of our interns, who will assist with research, administration and project support.

We are not looking for someone who waits for opportunities. We aree looking for someone who creates them.

Experience in business development, partnerships, hospitality, tourism, sales, marketing or community engagement is considered an advantage.

Fluent English is required and atleast B2 Level conversational dutch.

Dutch is a strong advantage, as many of our potential partners communicate primarily in Dutch.

You should genuinely enjoy walking into a business you've never visited before, introducing yourself and confidently presenting DeLola.

Your Responsibilities

  • Build partnerships with universities, colleges and language schools.

  • Develop relationships with companies, relocation agencies, travel agencies and tourism organisations.

  • Promote DeLola to airports, transport hubs, event organisers and other strategic partners.

  • Generate opportunities for direct bookings, group bookings, student accommodation and long stays.

  • Research and execute suitable advertising opportunities that increase DeLola's visibility.

  • Identify new business opportunities and revenue streams.

  • Attend networking events and represent DeLola professionally.

  • Follow up consistently with potential partners and business leads.

  • Maintain an organised Partnership Pipeline containing all contacts, opportunities and follow-up actions.

  • Coordinate approved campaigns and projects from concept through execution.

  • Prepare a weekly progress report.

  • Complete your assigned business development project each month.

The Operations & Hospitality Manager remains the final point of contact for commercial agreements, pricing, group bookings and partnership approvals. Your role is to create opportunities, build relationships and introduce prospective partners to DeLola.

Performance & Contract Progression

This is a task-based, results-driven position.

Your performance will be measured through clear monthly objectives and weekly progress meetings.

Examples include:

  • New partnerships developed.

  • Advertising opportunities researched etc...

Requirements

  • Available to work 32 hours per week (4 days).

  • Willing to travel throughout the Netherlands.

  • Own laptop for reporting, planning and administrative work.

  • Driving licence and own vehicle are welcome, although public transport is equally suitable.

  • Comfortable spending the majority of your working week outside the hotel.
