DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station offers great views, exceptional service and vibrant food & beverage outlets and is currently looking for a new Casual Breakfast Waiter/-ress to join the Food & Beverage Team.

Our hotel features an award-winning rooftop bar & terrace, pop-up restaurant Eastwood Beer & Grill, a Lobby Bar including our own in-house library, our own LOT61 Store, Amsterdam's most extensive breakfast buffet, fifteen versatile meeting rooms and 557 guest rooms.

Exciting news! Our hotel is in the midst of an extensive renovation, including the rebranding and repositioning of all Food & Beverage outlets throughout 2024. LuminAir, our rooftop bar, has already undergone an impressive rebrand and has reopened in June 2023. Stay tuned for further enhancements, including the redesign of our room inventory, as part of this comprehensive project!

As a Casual Breakfast Waiter/Waitress you will become part of our breakfast family and will be working in a very diverse team made up of nationalities from around the world. This diversity does not limit itself to the team only but also shows itself in the guests you will be helping as well as the work you will be doing. This includes being responsible for ensuring our guests receive a fantastic breakfast and lunch experience.

Who are we looking for?

You run smoothly and efficiently in the morning? Dealing with guests’ queries and creating memorable experiences is something you wake up for? Then this job is for you!

To fill this position successfully, it is important that you have the following skills:

• You are a morning person
• You have good communication skills in English, both vocally and written. Any other languages would be an advantage.
• You enjoy thinking with the team for efficient handling of tasks. You enjoy working interdepartmentally and collaborating effectively with other team members.
• You are an ambassador of the Hilton Values (Hospitality, Integrity, Leadership, Teamwork, Ownership & Now).
• A positive, proactive attitude.
• Previous experience with our PMS system, OnQ is a plus
